Getting Started

Quick flow

  1. Join the Torque Tycoon DCS server.
  2. Open the live map.
  3. Pick a useful task from Attention.
  4. Choose an aircraft that can carry the cargo.
  5. Spawn and load the crate at the pickup site.
  6. Navigate to a destination that accepts the cargo.
  7. Unload in the delivery zone and check the map for the result.

Join and prepare

(Optional) Before your first flight, join the Torque Tycoon Discord and link your DCS player with DCSBot if you want stats and support to match your in-game name. See Server & Discord for the exact /linkme steps.

Search for Torque Tycoon in the DCS multiplayer server browser, or connect directly to dcs.torquetycoon.net on port 10308.

Open map.torquetycoon.net in a browser or OpenKneeboard. It shows active sites, their stock, current shortages, and recommended tasks.

Not every site is visible or active yet. Most of the map starts hidden and gets found over time — see Exploration once you're past your first few flights.

Before takeoff

Choose an aircraft that can carry cargo. Capacity depends on the aircraft, available cargo slots, and crate weight.

For your first run, pick a short route and avoid heavy cargo until you know your aircraft's limits. Detailed cargo weights and aircraft capacity are listed in Logistics.

Your first delivery

  1. Open Attention on the map and choose a recommendation with a clear cargo and destination.
  2. Click the destination and check which goods it accepts under Cargo.
  3. Find a matching source or factory. Hovering over a site displays its known routes.
  4. Fly to the pickup site.
  5. Open F10 > Other > Tycoon > My Location.
  6. Select Show stock here to check available cargo.
  7. Use Spawn cargo to place the required crate, then load it through your aircraft's CTLD cargo menu.
  8. Open Tycoon > Navigation. Cargo Sites now lists destinations that accept your loaded cargo.
  9. Select a destination and choose Deploy smoke. You receive a bearing, distance, and smoke marker near the site.
  10. Land in the delivery zone and unload through the CTLD menu.

A valid delivery is detected automatically. Check the map afterward to see the destination's stock or supply improve.

!!! tip For your first flight, choose a short Source-to-Hub or Factory-to-City route.

If you cannot find a destination

  • Select Navigation > Refresh nearest sites to rebuild the list.
  • Cargo Sites only shows sites that accept cargo currently loaded aboard your aircraft.
  • Use Nearby Sites to search separately for SRC, FACT, HUB, and CITY sites.
