Gameplay
Torque Tycoon is not a sequence of isolated missions. All players contribute to the same economy and supply situation.
The core loop
Source -> raw material -> Factory -> processed cargo -> Hub or City
Not every route uses every step. What matters is that the destination accepts the cargo you are carrying.
Examples of longer production chains:
- Forest -> Wood -> Sawmill -> Goods -> City
- Oil well -> Oil -> Refinery -> Goods -> City
- Iron ore mine -> Iron Ore -> Steel mill -> Steel -> Factory
The map shows which cargo and routes are currently active.
Supply and progression
Hubs and cities have a fill level and a supply level:
- Fill shows how much suitable supply is stored.
- Supply is the slower-moving result of that stored supply.
- Stable/Unstable shows whether the site is holding its target state.
Supply is consumed over time. A small delivery to a critical site is often more useful than adding cargo to an already full warehouse.
Regions develop in stages. Hubs are supplied first, followed by cities. Once stabilized, a region needs less direct attention and players can move on to new areas.
Making useful decisions
- Start with the tasks listed under Attention.
- Prioritize critical and low-stock sites.
- Confirm cargo, destination, and route before takeoff.
- In multiplayer, divide the team across several shortages.
- Carry useful cargo on the return trip instead of flying empty.
